CONROEBASS.COM Saturday Series Rules
Tournament Rules
Interpretation and enforcement of all rules shall be left up to the tournament director
1. You must be off the water from 8:00pm the Friday before the tournament -until you leave for the marina in the morning. You may dock your boat. You will leave out ( by drawn numbers) in order at FIRST LIGHT and you must be checked in by 3:30 OR ANNOUNCED TIME FOR FLIGHTS .
You must drive by the dock with live wells open and pumping when your number is called. No passing in a no-wake zone..
2. You must wear your U.S.C.G.A. lifejacket and kill switch when you leave out and at all times when the boat is on plane.
3. This is a three (3) fish Black bass or Kentucky bass tournament. You can only keep (3) fish and then you must cull.
4. This is a team tournament. Only teams of 1 or 2 people may fish from a boat. No-one else can be present in the boat during tournament hours.
5. A short fish will cost you 1 pound plus the short fish will be thrown back and won’t count. You may check your fish on the tournament board prior to submitting for weight. Fish must be 16 inches long from closed -pressed mouth to pinched tail.
6. There is no penalty for a dead fish but 2 dead fish will cost you 1 pound. No culling dead fish.
7. You must leave and return in your boat or in a fellow competitor’s boat if you break down. You may be towed in by anyone.
8 .No passing in a no-wake zone..
9. This series is open to all anglers who have paid the $30 Membership fee for the series. Pros and guides are welcome to fish.
10. Fish anywhere on and in Lake Conroe. The fish and you must be in accessible waters of Lake Conroe and not in a pond next to the lake or inside a caged area. The fish and you must be able to come and go unobstructed.You may fish in and around marinas.
11. All fish weighed in must be caught by the team weighing it in and during the tournament hours.
12. No illegal drugs or alcohol may be used or consumed during tournament hours or until Polygraph is announced.
13. Bed fish (sight fish) MUST BE HOOKED INSIDE THE MOUTH. No intentional snagging of fish. You can only fish with one rod at a time and you can only fish with artificial lures. No trolling with the big motor.
14. No fishing within 50 yards of an anchored boat (trolling motor up) or within 25 yards of another competitor without permission. If one boat is permitted then all boats are permitted.
15. The Championship tournament will consist of the top 25 teams by points total and will pay 10 places .In case of a tie both teams qualify. Alternates will be selected in order by points. Points are awarded based on the number of teams. The first place winner of a Saturday series will be awarded points equal to the number of participating teams .Second place would be 1 point less and so on until the money spots are all awarded. Then every team out of the money receives the same amount of points which is equal to 1 point less than the last money finisher. Angler of the year will be determined by adding the yearly points plus double the Championship points. Example based on 100 teams—Anglers X win the first tourney for 100 points then they finish 20th and receive 81 points then they finish 40th they would get 80 points along with the rest of the non-money winners. They couldn’t get in the money the rest of the year due to divorce, a lost job ,and a blown engine but they did fish. They receive 80 points for each =100+81+80+80+80=421points for the year then they win the championship and are awarded 50 points for a total of 471 points -.
16. The series championship entry fees will be $300 plus there will be a Calcutta paid out at 100% to the top 5 teams at -40%-20%-20%-10%-10%
LIABILITY WAIVER
I have read all the rules and understand them completely. I understand that cheating in a bass tournament is a FELONY and punishable up to 50 years in prison. I also understand that fishing is one of the most dangerous and deadly sports in the world. There are many dangerous factors involved every time. There are speeding boats, dangerous weather, underwater hazards, flying hooks, knives, and sometimes the fish themselves can be dangerous. I agree to take and abide by a polygraph examination. Being of sound mind I EXPRESSLY WAIVE AND RELEASE ANY AND ALL LIABILITY TO and agree to hold harmless any and all friends ,sponsors, and affiliates of the CONROEBASS.COM ORGANIZATION. This includes but is not limited to… Robert Baney, Wolfies Restaurant and Sports Bar, Conroebass.com, Montgomery Custom Pools, American Rodsmiths, Kickerfish Baits, Conroe Carpets Etc. Katy Steam, R&R Marine, PAA, and anyone else who donates or participates in any way. I agree to accept and assume all risks associated with damages to person and or property which I may sustain in connection with the involvement in any and all present and future.CONROEBASS.COM EVENTS. I agree to carry adequate boat insurance. I also understand that any and all photos taken at CONROEBASS.COM. events become property of CONROEBASS.COM and May be copied ,printed, and published as CONROEBASS.COM sees fit. I HAVE READ ALL THE RULES AND ACCEPT LIABILITY FOR MY ACTIONS AND ACTIONS HAPPENED UPON ME . I AGREE TO FISH AT MY OWN RISK.
